The Early Days in Johannesburg
My story begins in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa. Growing up, I was always fascinated by how things were made. This curiosity led me to the world of woodworking and construction. I started my career as a shopfitter, a role that combines craftsmanship, design, and practical problem-solving. It was here that I discovered my love for transforming spaces and creating bespoke pieces.
Building My Own Factories
Driven by a desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible, I took a leap and started my own factories. This move allowed me to take on larger projects and innovate in ways I couldn’t have imagined before. From crafting custom furniture to designing intricate cabinetry, every project was a new adventure. Each piece we created was a testament to the dedication and skill of my team and me.
Venturing Into Major Projects
As my expertise grew, so did the scale of my projects. I’ve had the privilege of working on the renovation of several shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, commercial properties, residential buildings, and nightclubs. These projects were not just about construction; they were about creating experiences and environments that people would love and enjoy.
Expanding Horizons
But my journey didn’t stop there. Alongside my work in shopfitting, I’ve ventured into business consulting, AI consulting, and even founded MetaLearn Universe. My passion for learning and technology has opened up new avenues and allowed me to integrate innovative solutions into my projects.
